Course Description: This course will introduce the basic theory and applications of Markovian jump linear systems in estimation and control. Topics covered include MMSE estimation, LQR and LQG control of such systems, the bounded real lemma, and applications in networked control and fault detection. Familiarity with basic optimal control and random processes is assumed.
