This section presents the instructor's preliminary design of the course. It is intended to help students gain a general sense of what the course will be like.
Course Objectives
1. Learn about a company┐s inner workings ┐ corporate departments integrated into a working enterprise
2. Be able to analyze the marketplace - teams will be aware of market demand, customer buying criteria and competing product lines
3. Identify the basic roles of management, the manager as a coach, the manager as a leader, the manager as a mentor, and describe different six styles of management
4. Preparing and presenting an effective written business reports and presentations
5. An understanding of Emotional Intelligence and techniques used to increase EI competencies
